Individualized Aesthetics Training

Individualized Aesthetics Training

We customize trainings based on the healthcare provider’s needs. Once you attend a foundational course you will want to have additional training to better hone in on your skills. Injecting takes time to master.

Hi there! Im Megan Davies, owner and injector at Academy of Aesthetics & DHH Med Spa.  Many new injectors come to us stating how little hands-on time they received at their first training class and many important aspects of injecting that were not discussed-like what to do in the event of an occlusion! I will tell you I too left my first training feeling like I completely wasted my money-and I do not want anyone to feel that way.  Unfortunately, many people with little experience injecting decide training is a great way to earn extra income. They offer competitively priced trainings and once the trainee leaves they understand why the training was priced lower.

At our Academy we have elevated the experience.  We provide you study materials in advance so that you get more hands on time.  We also offer mentorship options and other trainings to further hone in on your skills. Becoming an excellent injector takes time-trust me I know, I’ve been doing it ten years now.  Our goal is to set up new injectors with a good foundation that they can continue to build on.

For advanced injectors, we have options if you are ready to take your skills to the next level-just ask.  Our Sculptra trainings are our most frequently requested training.  I took four Sculptra trainings before I felt comfortable injecting Sculptra. From those four trainings as well as my own research, I combined what I liked about each and made one amazing training. In our training we have the “Sculptra Bible”.  It is what all my attendees tell me they keep with them as they treat every Sculptra client as they are new. I can tell you most of our trainees feel confident starting to inject Sculptra on their own after they train with us thanks to the Sculptra Bible.

I started my journey into Aesthetics before instagram.  I spent countless hours researching best practices and searching for content that just wasn’t out there yet.  I’m glad I’ve seen so much change for the better in Aesthetics over the years.  There have been so many advancements with training and techniques and I’ve attended so many of those trainings. I love that I get to bring those trainings back to my trainees. Every training I do incorporates best practices and techniques from several trainings I’ve attended. If I think one approach is the absolute only way to treat the area I will tell my trainees. In many cases however I will show you multiple options and let you know the pros and cons and decide what works best for you.
